Hello Vampire Minions. Here's your monthly dose of exciting things to look forward to this summer. Get your calanders ready! BOOK UPDATES / SALES:
The Ema Marx series is now available in print paperback with all new re-vamped cover art and bonus content! All three books are on sale for the low introductory price of $9.95 ea. plus shipping (shipping is free for Amazon Prime members). This low price won’t last, so grab it while you can.
I’m in the process of re-vamping the ebooks to included the same new cover art and bonus content as the print editions. Those are expected to drop some time in August / September 2015. The current First Editions of the ebooks are still available to buy and read everywhere ebooks are sold.
Summer is “Meet the Author Season” and I have three great opportunities planned.
July 11, 2015 I will be one of many authors participating in the Breadloaf Beachside Authorfest located downtown Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
On July 12, 2015 I will be doing a local book signing with romance author Charlene A. Wilison at Breadloaf Book Shop in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
Then, October 23-24, 2015 I will be a featured author at the HallowRead convention in Ellicott City, Maryland.

WRITING UPDATES AND ARC OPPORTUNITIES:
I’m currently working on a second Heirloom Vampyres Novella tentatively titled "The Warrioress." This is Maria’s and Naamah’s story – how they met, fell in love, and inevitably ended up in Apollyon’s demented claws. "The Warrioress" is being written as a “prequel to the prequel” as the events take place over 300 years before "Athena’s Oracle." I’m very excited about this one and hope you will love reading it as much as I’m enjoying writing it. There will be a special opportunity for all my readers to get a free ARC copy of "The Warrioress." Details will be posted in the next newsletter, so stay tuned for updates.
GET A FREE EBOOK:
I’m still giving away free ebooks to new newsletter subscribers. New readers have their choice between "Athena’s Oracle" or "Dark Heirloom." Please share and recommend this opportunity with your friends. They can sign up here.
What’s on your summer reading list? I’ve recently become obsessed with the "Splintered" series by A.G. Howard, and the "Outlander" series by Diana Gabaldon. Two vastly different genres, but both feature kick-butt heroines and some very sexy heroes. Perfect for reading by the pool.
If anyone goes to Disney Land this year, I demand photos so I can live vicariously through you! *wink*
That’s all for now,
- J.D. Brown
